Are you considering admission to a Sainik School for your child? Here are the eligibility criteria for Class 6 admission for the academic year 2025-26:
1. Nationality
- Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
2. Gender
- Admission is open to both boys and girls.
3. Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as of March 31, 2025.
- Date of birth must fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (both dates inclusive).
4. Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have completed or be currently studying in Class 5 from a recognized school.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE). Ensure all eligibility conditions are met before submitting the application, as incomplete or ineligible applications will not be considered.

- Geometry: Types of Angles, Lines & Angles, Circles, Complementary/Supplementary Angles, Plane Figures.
- Mensuration: Area & Perimeter, Volume of Cubes & Cuboids.
- Arithmetic: Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Profit & Loss, Average, Simplification, Simple Interest, Speed & Time, Temperature.
2. Intelligence (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
- Verbal Reasoning: Series Test, Alphabet Test, Coding-Decoding, Classification, Analogy, Blood Relation, Direction, Mathematical Operation, Ranking, Seating Arrangement, Clock & Calendar.
- Non-Verbal Reasoning: Series, Analogy, Classification, Paper Cutting & Folding, Mirror/water image, Figure counting, Figure completion, Cube & Dice, Venn Diagram.
3. English (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
- Grammar: Nouns, Pronouns, Articles, Tenses, Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives, Preposition, Conjunctions, Interjections, Question tags, Singular/Plural, Collective nouns, Types of Sentences, Gerund.

4. General Knowledge (25 Questions, 50 Marks)
